Azoff And Rose To Mediation
Representatives for Axl Rose and former manager Irving Azoff expect to meet regarding their dueling suits April 25, one day before the scheduled trial.
Attorneys for Rose and Azoff told a judge April 11 they will continue mediation efforts, according to Southern California’s City News Service, and are expected to meet with a retired judge who will act as a mediator.
Azoff sued Rose last year, claiming the Guns ‘N Roses singer owes Front Line Management more than $1.8 million and still needs to compensate the company for some overseas performances. Rose countersued that Azoff lied about a possible tour with Van Halen and failed to properly promote Chinese Democracy.
Azoff’s attorneys claim Rose has refused to take part in settlement talks, according to CNS. Rose’s attorney denies the claim.
