More Phish This Summer

Phish’s sets at aren’t the only new dates the rock band announced Monday. The group also added several U.S. shows to its summer itinerary.

The new dates begin with a two-night stand Aug. 5-6 at Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, Wash. On Aug. 8 Phish plays its first show in Los Angeles since 2003 with a gig at the Hollywood Bowl.

The trek also marks the band’s first shows in Lake Tahoe. Trey Anastasio and the gang play the Nevada side of the lake Aug. 9-10 at Harveys Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena in Stateline. After playing Outside Lands, Phish sets up shop in Chicago for three consecutive nights at UIC Pavilion Aug. 15-17.

A ticket request period for the new dates is going on now through Phish’s official website. The request ends Monday, April 25 at 11:59 a.m. EST.

Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, April 29.

Outside Lands Music Festival takes place Aug. 12-14 at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. Phish is scheduled to perform two sets during the fest, which also includes Muse, Arcade Fire, The Black Keys, Deadmau5, The Roots and MGMT. Although a daily lineup has not been announced yet, Phish’s website says the band will perform at least one set Aug. 12. 

Phish’s festival is scheduled over Fourth of July weekend July 1-3 at Watkins Glen International in New York.
