Prince originally teased his residency plans last week with a phone call to TBS’ “Lopez Tonight.” While the Purple One told host George Lopez that the first of the 21 shows would take place at the The Forum in Inglewood, his words were quickly misconstrued in the media as indicating that all shows would be at the 44-year-old sports arena. Now it appears only some of the concerts will take place at The Forum.

Like the first three gigs in the residency – April 14, 21 and 22.

The shows are a part of Prince’s Welcome 2 America tour that launched in late 2010 and has done tremendous biz at the box office. When Prince announced the tour at the Apollo Theater last fall, he said he’d act more like a master of ceremonies than a headliner, playing hosts to musical guests such as Mint Condition, Janelle Monae, Maceo Parker, Cassandra Wilson and Larry Graham with Graham Central Station. So far, Prince has not announced the guests for his Los Angeles shows.

But he has revealed ticket info with approximately 85 percent of all tickets priced at $25, inclusive of all fees. All three announced Forum dates go up tomorrow, April 12 at 10 a.m. PDT via Ticketmaster.
