If anyone can match the collective success of NKOTB and BSB its Ms. Sparks, whose list of musical accomplishments include best-selling albums, tons of awards, including American Music, People’s Choice and Teen Choice plus plenty of Grammy and MTV VMA noms.

At this time Sparks is scheduled to appear on the opener in Rosemont, Ill., at the Allstate Arena May 25 and stay with the tour through Los Angeles when it lands at the Staples Center July 1. Dates in between include Baltimore at 1st Mariner Arena May 29; Boston at TD Garden June 4; Toronto at Air Canada Centre May 8-9, E. Rutherford, N.J. at IZOD Center June 12-13 and Houston at Toyota Center June 25.

Of course, the announcement came with quotes from all involved.

“I am honored to be joining the NKOTBSB Tour,” Sparks said, feeding the global quote-a-sphere. “It is going to be crazy being the only girl on the road but I am looking forward to it.”

Both bands worked together to issue one statement (in nine-part harmonies, no doubt), saying, “We are so excited to have Jordin Sparks joining us as a special guest for the tour. Her voice is strong, her songs are strong, and we think she’ll be a really fun addition to our show.”
