Cutting Up The Dance Floor

Although Cut Copy is set to return to Australia after this week’s shows, this isn’t the last U.S. fans have seen of the group. The electro-pop band has announced a bunch of U.S. summer headline dates to go along with previously announced festival appearances.

Cut Copy is touring in support of its third studio album, Zonoscope. The album was released in February as the follow-up to 2008’s In Ghost Colours.

The new U.S. dates begin with a July 5 gig at The National in Richmond, Va. The group will also be making stops in Baltimore (July 6); Royal Oak, Mich. (July 9); Pittsburgh (July 11) and Tempe, Ariz. (Aug. 12).
