Clutch Pops Out A Tour

Clutch will headline a short July tour with Corrosion Of Conformity providing direct support. Details after the jump.

Congress Theatre, Chicago, Ill.

The tour beings at NYC’s Brooklyn Bowl July 20. Other stops include Pittsburgh at Stage AE July 22; Flint, Mich., at the Machine Shop July 23; Traverse City, Mich., at Ground Zero July 24; Columbia, Mo., at The Blue Note July 26; Urbana, Ill., at The Canopy Club July 27 and Louisville, Ky., at Expo Five July 31.

There are also a few July dates that don’t include Corrosion Of Conformity, such as July 21 in New York when Clutch performs at the and July 30 in Madison, Wisc., at the Alliant Energy Center. Also on the July books are two previously announced Ohio gigs with Flogging Molly – Cleveland at Jacob’s Pavilion at Nautica July 28 and Columbus at LC Pavilion July 29.

The band also has a May headlining journey with Maylene And The Sons Of Disaster beginning in Reading, Penn., at Reverb May 20 and wrapping in Huntington, W.Va., at V Club May 29. Stops in between include Norfolk, Va., at The Norva May 21; St. Petersburg, Fla., at State Theatre May 24 and Raleigh, N.C., at Lincoln Theatre May 27.

Clutch is releasing a deluxe version of its 2004 Blast Tyrant album bundled with a bonus CD band members are calling the “Basket Of Eggs” project. Included on the 10-song extra disc are acoustic versions of “The Regulator,” “Basket Of Eggs,” “Tight Like That” and “Drink To The Dead.” Other tracks include “Boxcar Shorty’s Confession,” “Cattle Car,” “Walpole Man,” “Promoter,” “La Curandera” and “Steve Doocy.”
