Paul Rodriguez Goes On The Record
The show will include juicy information on the actor/comedian’s turbulent relationships, family life, childhood spent in Mexico and America, and the struggles he went through building his career.
“Just For The Record” will debut in North Hollywood, Calif., at the El Portal Theatre May 19-21 and May 26-29.
“My career, and my life in general, have taken me on an incredible journey,” Rodriguez said in a statement. “I thought it was time for me to give my fans (and critics) a deeper look into what makes me tic, as well as share everything I’ve learned over the years. So the show is going to be about 10 minutes, but it’s going to be the most informative and entertaining 10 minutes of their lives. Seriously, I put my heart in to this so my fans can see the real me, the real Hollywood, and see why I’m still here.”
“Just For The Record” was written by Rodriguez and produced by LoganWolf Entertainment, the team behind his current hit MTV Tr3s series, “Mis Videos Locos with Paul Rodriguez.”
“In between takes throughout the day, Paul would share some of the most amazing, sometimes shocking, stories with us,” director Bobby Logan said in a statement. “Yet, no matter how amazing the tales were, Paul, as always, peppered them with his hilarious ‘take’ on life. This is why Logan Wolf Entertainment is thrilled at the opportunity to present audiences with a different side of Paul.”
Rodriguez’s resume includes starring roles and featured appearances in over 45 films, television series and comedy specials. He’s also taken on the task of writing, directing and producing for television and features including the comedy concert films & DVDs “Comedy Rehab,” “The Original Kings Of Comedy,” and “Paul Rodriguez, Live in San Quentin,” in addition to the feature comedy “A Million to Juan.”
