The music gods have been very good to both acts in recent years. Earlier this year Train picked up its third Grammy when the Recording Academy named the band’s “Hey Soul Sister” from its Save Me, San Francisco album as 2010’s Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals.

Meanwhile, Maroon 5 has been receiving critical acclaims for its third studio album, Hands All Over. Not only has the Mutt Lange-produced disc dominated the charts, but the band received a Grammy nom for the album’s debut single – “Misery.” The band’s fourth single from the album – “Never Gonna Leave This Bed” – is already on its way to becoming Maroon 5’s newest success story. Plus, frontman Adam Levine has joined the lineup of coaches for NBC’s new reality show / music contest, “The Voice.”
