The band’s new album, Codes And Keys, drops May 31. Although the band has a short series of North American dates scheduled for May and June, the summer tour doesn’t officially get underway until the bus pulls into Columbus, Ohio, for a gig at the Lifestyle Communities Pavilion July 27. Other late July dates include Detroit Fox Theatre July 28; Toronto’s Molson Canadian Amphitheatre July 29 and Montreal’s Osheaga Festival July 31.

August sees Ben Gibbard & co. return to the U.S., playing Boston’s Bank Of America Pavilion Aug. 1; Brooklyn’s Williamsburg Waterfront Aug. 2 and Philadelphia’s Mann Center For The Performing Arts Aug. 5. Other markets include Columbia, Md. (Aug. 7); Nashville (Aug. 10); New Orleans (Aug. 12); Phoenix (Aug. 15); Los Angeles (Aug. 18-19) and Denver (Aug. 23).
