It’s hardly surprising the event sold out in advance, as this is the 12th year in succession it’s done so, but it also took two days less than it took last year.

Christophe Platel from Paleo’s press office says the Friday night (July 22) featuring James Blunt, Les Cowboys Fringants, Stromae, Shaka Ponk, and Round Table Knights, sold all 35,000 tickets in less than 12 minutes.

The Sunday night, which has Yael Naïm, Cocoon, Lilly Wood & The Prick, The Hillbilly Moon Explosion and Fiona Daniel, sold out in 30 minutes.

The Saturday night featuring Winehouse, Robert Plant & The Band of Joy, Metronomy, Moriarty, Noisettes, and The BellRays took a little more than two hours.

The other acts at Paleo-Nyon July 19-24 include Jack Johnson, The National, The Chemical Brothers, Portishead, The Strokes, P.J. Harvey and Anna Calvi.
