Slowhand and his band – drummer Steve Gadd, bassist Willie Weeks, keyboardists Chris Stainton and Tim Carmon and backing singers Michelle John and Sharon White – begin the South American adventure in Brazil, playing Porto Alegrae at Estacionamento Da Fiergs Oct. 6; Rio at HSBC Arena Oct. 9 and Sao Paulo at Morumbi Stadium Oct. 12. Clapton’s Argentina appearance will be in Buenos Aires at the River Plate Stadium Oct. 14 and the show in Chile is scheduled for Santiago at Estadio Nacional Oct. 16.

Clapton continues his tour in support of his latest album, Clapton, with dates in Dublin (May 9), Belfast (May 10), Glasgow (May 12) and Cardiff (May 14) leading up to his multi-night residency at London’s Royal Albert Hall (May 17-18, 20-21, 23-24, 26-27, 29-30 and June 1).
