When Keys takes the stage at New York’s Beacon Theatre June 30, the singer/songwriter/producer will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of her debut album songs in A minor. Called “Piano & I: A One Night Only Event With Alicia Keys,” the evening will feature Keys accompanied only by her piano.

“I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of songs in A minor, than by holding a special, intimate concert for my fans,” Keys said. ”It’s my absolute favorite way to perform. There is something so special about just me on my piano connecting with the audience. It brings me back to the very beginning when I could only perform with a keyboard and to now be able to take it back to the essence of who I am with this show, it is so exciting.”

The Beacon performance isn’t the only way Keys is celebrating her debut album’s anniversary. Songs in A minor is also getting the re-release treatment, including special packaging, previously unreleased material and new liner notes from Keys and will be available in the two-disc deluxe edition and the three-disc Collector’s Edition that also includes a documentary created for the album’s anniversary. Songs in A minor will also be released on vinyl.
