Jackyl Makes A Beer Run

Hard rockin’ Jackyl takes to the road this summer, serving up tunes and perhaps a chance to wet your whistle.

While the band led by Jesse James Dupree has a couple of May dates – Idaho Falls, Idaho, at Rock N’ Rally May 14 and Centreville, Va., at Bull Run Regional Park May 28; the touring calendar really begins to fill up in June. Shows scheduled for next month include Sandusky, Ohio (June 4); Foxboro, Mass. (June 10); and Milwaukee’s Summerfest (June 30).

Jackyl keeps the party going all the way through July playing Sauget, Ill. (July 12); Nashville (July 13); Lexington, Ky. (July 14); Wabash, Ind. (July 16); and Cadott, Wis., at Rock Fest July 17. August shows include Monticello, Ind. (Aug. 20) and Harmony, Minn. (Aug. 27). So far, there’s one September gig on the routing – Pacific Junction, La., at Mid America Motorplex (Sept. 10).

Along with plenty of tour dates comes Jesse James America’s Outlaw Beer.  Already in Kansas, Missouri and South Dakota, the unfiltered wheat brew recently entered Wisconsin.  Containing 40 percent malted wheat combined with pale, caramel and Munich malts, America’s Outlaw Beer ring contains 5.5 percent alcohol by volume.  But we know you’ll drink it for the taste. Right?
