But Deadmau5, whose real name is Joel Thomas Zimmerman, isn’t touring in a vacuum. Ultra Music is issuing special remix packages of his 2010 single “Raise Your Weapon” via iTunes and Beatport beginning May 23. On July 5 Ultra will release “Deadmau5 Live At Earls Court,” a concert DVD depicting his 2010 performance that went down in history as the 19,000-seat venue’s first-ever sold out performance by an electronic music artist.

The fall run begins with Deadmau5’s Aug. 5 appearance at Lollapalooza in Chicago. Other dates include Vancouver, B.C., at PNE Forum Aug. 12; San Francisco’s Outside Lands festival Aug. 14; Seattle’s Paramount Theatre Aug. 18; Hollywood at the Palladium Aug. 25; Morrison, Colo., near Denver at Red Rocks Amphitheatre Aug. 30; Atlanta’s Tabernacle Sept. 8; Philadelphia at the Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing Sept. 23; Montreal’s Metropolis Oct. 1; New York at Roseland Ballroom Oct. 5 and SOMA San Diego Oct. 26. Last stop on the routing is Toronto’s Rogers Centre Nov. 5.

Deadmau5 will soon be releasing his new touch mix app for iPod Touch and iPad that enables fans to remix his music. The app, which will be available via his Facebook page, also comes with the chance for fans to win a custom Deadmau5 iPad.
