Identity Revealed

The brand spanking new electronic music tour called “Identity” has let loose with everything you need to know, including cities, venues and individual daily lineups.

Promoted as the “first-ever electronic-only music festival to visit major outdoor amphitheatres,” Identity will feature a revolving lineup on each date with headliner Kaskade along with Pretty Lights, Rusko, Avicii, Steve Aoki, Disco Biscuits, DJ Shadow, Skrillex, Pete Tong, Chuckie, Booka Shade, Modeselektor, The Crystal Method, Nero and more.

With Skullcandy as the title sponsor, the Identity tour begins Aug. 11 near Indianapolis in Noblesville, Ind., at the Verizon Wireless Music Center. Other stops include Clarkston, Mich, north of Detroit at the DTE Energy Music Theatre Aug. 12; Bristow, Va., near Washington, D.C., at Jiffy Lube Live Aug. 18; Atlanta at Aaron’s Amphitheatre At Lakewood Aug. 23; Dallas at the Gexa Energy Pavilion Aug. 28; Mountain View, Calif., at the Shoreline Amphitheatre Sept. 3; and Quincy, Wash., at the Gorge Amphitheatre Sept. 10.

So far, Identity has yet to confirm venues for two cities – Los Angeles Sept. 4 and Las Vegas Sept. 5.

Tickets for all shows except Los Angeles and Las Vegas go on sale May 20 at 10 a.m. local time. General admission ducats pretty much give you the run of the place, enabling you to experience all three stages. Early bird tickets are priced at $40 for Identity shows taking place Thursday through Sunday and $35 for Identity shows scheduled from Monday through Wednesday.
