Cure Fans Pay $1,000

The Cure’s two world exclusive shows for June’s Vivid Live at the Sydney Opera House sold out in five minutes May 12, according to Creative Live.

The tickets, ranging from $109 to $180, are being sold by scalpers for $1,000.

The Opera House’s website collapsed due to volume.

The shows see past and present Cure members performing the band’s first three albums in entirety.
