Clap Your Hands Is Back In Business
The upcoming dates mark the group’s first major tour plans since CYHSY went on hiatus in early 2009.
Although Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival hasn’t announced its daily lineup you can count on CYHSY performing sometime between Aug. 12-14 at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. The band has lined up another U.S. festival appearance with an Aug. 28 set at Sunset Junction Street Fair in Silver Lake, Calif.
The scheduled European dates begin with a Sept. 2 show at End Of The Road Festival in Salisbury, United Kingdom. CYHSY will also perform at Berlin Festival Sept. 9.
Headline dates include shows in Sheffield, U.K. (Sept. 6); London (Sept. 7); Paris (Sept. 12); Amsterdam, Netherlands (Sept. 13) and Cologne, Germany (Sept. 14).
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah’s third studio album is set for release Sept. 20 in the U.S. and Sept. 12 in Europe, Japan and Australia. Hysterical, which was produced by John Congleton, is the follow-up to 2007’s Some Loud Thunder.
The band also announced that it will be re-issuing a fully re-mastered version of its 2005 self-titled album on vinyl June 14.
