Based out of New Orleans, Quintron, whose real name is Robert Rolston, plays organ and pretty much does a one-man-band type of show. His wife Panacea – Miss Pussycat – sings and conducts puppet shows.

Citing a “family emergency at home,” The husband and wife team announced it will play shows scheduled for tonight in Birmingham, Ala., and tomorrow night in Atlanta but is canceling all dates beginning with May in Savannah, Ga., at The Jinx through the tour-ending New Orleans gig at Siberia July 25.

Saying they hope to reschedule the tour soon, Quintron & Miss Pussycat thanked their fans as well as their label, Goner Records, for supporting the group’s new album Sucre Du Sauvage.
