Prince Schedules ‘Intimate’ LA Gigs
Continuing his 21-city Los Angeles residency, Prince has slotted three shows for this Wednesday but has yet to reveal the venues.
Three Prince “TBAs” will go on sale via Ticketmaster today. Going up at high noon PDT, the purple hat trick begins with a show described as “Late Night Jam” scheduled for 7 p.m., continues with a “Jazz Café” show beginning at 10 p.m. and wraps with a “Private Charity Event” set for 11:59 p.m.
Broken down, Prince’s 21 show residency has so far included 12 shows at the Forum with three upcoming gigs scheduled for May 27-29 for a total of 15 at the arena in Inglewood. Adding in the two shows in one night the West Hollywood’s Troubadour earlier this month and the three going up today gives us a grand total of 20.
