Dropkick Murphys Stylishly Expand Summer Tour

Before Dropkick Murphys kick off the band’s summer tour on Saturday the Celtic punk band needed to add a few more stops to their North American routing.

Recently confirmed festival appearances include “Summerfest” in Milwaukee (July 8); “Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest” in Ottawa, Ontario (July 10); “Festival D’ete de Quebec” in Quebec City, Quebec (July 11); and “George Street Festival” in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador (Aug. 1). 

Additional new dates include shows in Pomona, Calif. (July 1); Sayreville, N.J. (July 27); Montclair, N.J. (July 28); Essex Junction, Vt. (July 29); Halifax, Nova Scotia (Aug. 3); Moncton, New Brunswick (Aug. 4); and Montreal (Aug. 5).

Dropkick Murphys’ run of North American dates begins Saturday in Las Vegas with a set at the “Punk Rock Bowling & Music Festival.” The trek wraps up with the Aug. 5 show at Montreal’s Metropolis.

European festival appearances are scheduled Aug. 12-21 with shows in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Tickets are on sale now.

The band is touring in support of its seventh studio album, Going Out In Style. The album was released in March on Born & Bred Records.
