Coachella Times Two

The Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival expands in 2012 with two versions of the same event.

Coachella will take place over two weekends – April 13-15 and 20-22 – with both taking place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif.

While announcing the dates, promoters said they will “attempt to produce two identical festival weekends – same lineup, same art, same place, different people.”

Weekend passes go on sale June 3 and will continue until June 10. The advance sale will be the only time concertgoers can take advantage of Coachella’s payment plan calling for 10 percent down and the balance paid off in eight equal monthly installments.
