More Soundgarden Shows

Soundgarden has added two more shows to its summer tour with one new gig in the U.S. and another in Canada.

The new U.S. performance takes place July 20 in Stateline, Nev., at Harveys Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena. Canadian fans will get another chance to see Chris Cornell and the gang thanks to the addition of a July 27 show in Calgary, Alberta, at Scotiabank Saddledome. The Mars Volta open the Stateline show and Meat Puppets provide support for the Calgary gig.

The North American trek kicks off July 2 at Toronto’s Molson Canadian Amphitheatre. Dates are scheduled through a July 30 gig in Vancouver at Rogers Arena. The tour marks the grunge rock band’s first major trek since breaking up in 1997.

An exclusive Soundgarden World fan club presale began today for the Calgary show and runs through June 2 at 10 p.m. MDT. Additional presales through Live Nation and X92.9 & CJAY 92 begin June 2 at 10 a.m. MDT through 10 p.m. MDT. Tickets go on sale to the general public June 3 at 10 a.m. MDT.

A fan club presale for the Stateline show begins June 1 at 10 a.m. PDT and runs through June 9 at 10 p.m. PDT. An APE/ Total Rewards presale is set for June 8 at 10 a.m. PDT through June 9 at 11:59 PDT. Tickets go on sale to the general public June 10 at 10 a.m. PDT.
