Bumbershoot Unveils Daily Lineups
Scheduled for Sept. 3-5 at the Seattle Center, Bumbershoot put its first round of ducats on sale in mid-March when it announced a new ticketing partnership with One Reel and said it was moving its mainstage to the Key Arena. Now the festival has revealed its daily plans, giving you all summer long to figure out your festival strategy.
A brief overview shows Ray LaMontagne & The Pariah Dogs with Vusi Mahlasela scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 3 along with Minus The Bear, Mavis Staples, Little Dragon and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue.
Sunday, Sept. 4 includes Wiz Khalifa with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Broken Social Scene with The Lonely Forest, The Kills, Butthole Surfers, Carbon Leaf, Leon Russell, Toro Y Moi and Anti-Flag.
Daryl Hall & John Oates top Bumbershoot’s Labor Day lineup. Other acts on the festival’s last day include Fitz & the Tantrums, Reverend Horton Heat, Over The Rhine, Phantogram, Grant Lee Buffalo and Urge Overkill.
But the above is just a brief summary of Bumbershoot’s 3-day agenda. There are plenty of other acts scheduled, including Vetiver, Eyehategod, Atari Teenage Riot, The Jim Jones Revue and Ian Moore & The Lossy Coils, to mention a few names. Plus, a date hasn’t yet been nailed down for The Presidents Of The United States, so expect a few updates between now and September.
Single day tickets, three-day passes and Gold and Platinum passes are on sale now. Check out Bumbershoot.org for more info.
