Yes, there have been a lot of musicians performing in Renaissance since Yardbirds vets Jim McCarty and Keith Relf started the band in 1969. These days the group is centered around two of its most notable members – Annie Haslam on vocals and guitarist Michael Dunford – both of whom joined Renaissance in the early 1970s and helped create the group’s signature sound mixing England’s folk heritage with the then-burgeoning progressive rock stylings.

The upcoming tour features Renaissance performing two of its most acclaimed albums in their entirety – 1974’s Turn Of Cards and Scheherazade And Other Stories released in 1975.

The Eastern United States trek begins in Buffalo, N.Y., at the Tralfamadore Sept. 13. Other engagements include Rochester, N.Y., at the German House Theatre Sept. 15; Norfolk at Infinity Hall Sept. 16; New York at The Concert Hall Sept. 17; Annapolis at Ram’s Head On Stage Sept. 20; Alexandria, Va., at Birchmere Music Hall Sept. 22; Philadelphia at Keswick Theatre Sept. 23 and Newark, N.J., at Victoria Theatre Sept. 24.
