Playing only guitar and piano, Browne has been doing the solo bit since February, giving fans those up-close-and-personal moments as he varies the set list each evening in an exploration of his magnificent catalog.

The fall leg begins in Interlochen, Mich., at the Center For The Arts Sept. 23. Other stops include Akron, Ohio, at the EJ Thomas Performing Arts Hall Sept. 26; Pittsburgh’s Heinz Hall Sept. 29; Portland, Maine, at Merrill Auditorium Oct. 5; Westbury, N.Y., at the NYCB Theatre At Westbury and Washington, D.C., at Warner Theatre Oct. 23.

Browne also has plenty of new California dates slotted for November including engagements in Chico (Nov. 3), Redding (Nov. 4), Arcata (Nov. 6), Yountville (Nov. 8), San Rafael (Nov. 9), Turlock (Nov. 11), Hanford (Nov. 12) and Gaviota (Nov. 17).
