Pajama Club Coming To U.S.

Neil Finn’s new band plays a short series of dates in the U.S. later this month, giving fans a taste of the band’s first album scheduled for a September release.

Formed by the Crowded House frontman along with his wife Sharon Finn, the New Zealand-based Pajama Club also includes Sean Donnelly of SJD and former Grates drummer Alana Skyring. The band’s debut album drops Sept. 13 through Lester Records/Redeye.

Doing a few dates during the last week of June, Pajama Club kicks off the run with a show in Alexandria, Va., at the Birchmere Music Hall June 23. Other destinations are North Adam, Mass., at the June 24; New York’s Bowery Ballroom June 26; Fairfield Conn., at Stage One June 28 and Chicago’s Double Door June 29.
