Cockburn, who has racked up 13 Juno Awards over the years, was recently selected to slap his smiling mug on a Canadian postage stamp as part of the country’s recording artists stamp series, joining notable Canadians Kate and Anna McGarrigle, Robbie Robertson and Ginette Reno. The stamps will be released at the end of this month.

Touring in support of his 31st studio effort, Small Source Of Comfort, Cockburn begins his fall U.S. run at Nashville’s Belcourt Theatre Sept. 7. Other stops include Atlanta’s Variety Playhouse Sept. 8; Annapolis at Rams Head On Stage Sept. 12; Montclair, N.J., at First Congregational Church Sept. 23; Buffalo, N.Y., at The Tralf Sept. 26 and Asheville, N.C., at the Orange Peel Oct. 1.
