2nd Person Charged With Killing MTV Worker In LA
A second person has been charged with the shotgun slaying of an MTV music coordinator in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles County prosecutors say 26-year-old Jabaar Vincent Thomas was accused Wednesday of being the gunman who killed Gabriel Ben-Meir in May outside his Mid-Wilshire home.
Thomas and 30-year-old Destiny Young are charged with killing Ben-Meir and another man a week earlier during a string of shotgun holdups.
Both were ordered held without bail. Prosecutors haven’t decided whether to seek the death penalty.
A co-defendant, Richard Anderson Jr., faces six counts of robbery but he hasn’t been charged with murder.
All three pleaded not guilty during a Wednesday hearing.
