Bryan Ferry Ferries To The U.S.

Bryan Ferry will cross over the Atlantic Ocean this fall to play his first solo U.S. dates in nearly nine years.

The Roxy Music frontman is touring in support of Olympia, which was released in 2010 on Virgin Records. The album features contributions from members of Roxy Music, Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood, Flea, David Gilmour and Scissor Sisters.

The U.S. dates begin Sept. 29 with a gig at Fillmore Miami Beach At Jackie Gleason Theater. Shows are booked through an Oct. 15 performance at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.

The English singer/songwriter will also play North Bethesda, Md., at Music Center At Strathmore (Oct. 3); Montclair, N.J., at Wellmont Theatre (Oct. 4); New York’s Beacon Theatre (Oct. 6); Chicago’s Civic Opera House (Oct. 11); and Oakland, Calif., at Fox Theater (Oct. 14).

Before then he plays Tel Aviv, Israel June 22 followed by a European dates scheduled June 30 through Sept. 21.

Tickets for select U.S. dates are available now. Tickets for the New York and Montclair, N.J., shows go on sale to the general public June 17. 

Ferry last toured the U.S. in November 2002. He last toured the states with Roxy Music in July 2003.
