Originally scheduled for Aug. 27, the Gwar-B-Q has been moved to Sept. 17. The location remains the same – near Richmond, Va., at Hadad’s Water Park.

Along with all the decibel depravity fans have come to expect from their heroes, the Gwar-B-Q will also hold an “American A-Hole Karaoke” contest hosted by the band’s manager Sleazy P. Martini and judged by celebrities. Other events include the Oderus Kissing Booth, choosing the “King” of the Gwar-B-Q Meat-Off, and the always popular Spew-O-Lympics/Bloody T-Shirt Contest.

And don’t forget about the bands. In addition to Gwar the stage will host a reunion of Richmond’s very own Kepone for one show only. Also appearing will be DBX, which is made up of Gwar members and Mensrea which also has a Gwar connection in the form of Cory Smoot aka Flattus Maximus.

Tickets come in three flavors. The $30 deluxe model includes entry to all events plus an official Gwar-B-Q T-shirt while the $75 premium version includes all of the above plus a live concert DVD, a VIP pass for a “Meat And Beat” signing with the band and a chance to appear onstage with Gwar and “be devoured by their pet World Maggot.”

If the above packages aren’t your style, you can still opt for the basic $25 day-of-show ticket. Visit GwarBQ.com for more information.
