Shareholders Appove CKX Buyout

Apollo Global Management’s acquisition of “American Idol” parent company CKX is moving along.

Apollo announced June 16 that CKX shareholders approved sale of stock to Apollo at $5.50 a share.

The tender offer amounts to 75 percent of total stock including largest shareholder Robert Sillerman, former chairman of CKX.
