MTS Centre Renews Naming Deal

The MTS Centre that the NHL’s Atlanta Thrashers will now call home in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is keeping its name.

The arena has signed a naming rights agreement with Canadian telecom MTS Allstream that will see the venue hold on to the MTS moniker through 2021.

True North Sports and Entertainment, which recently purchased the Thrashers, is apparently still at the drawing board for new names for the team.
