Reel Big Fish Nets New Tour, Reschedules S.A.

Today’s a good news/bad news day for Reel Big Fish fans. The bad news is a medical emergency has forced the ska punk band to reschedule its South American romp with Goldfinger set to begin this week. And the good news? A new U.S. tour with Streetlight Manifesto kicks off next month.

Reel Big Fish was scheduled to play seven shows in Brazil and Argentina June 22 to July 2 but that was before lead singer Aaron Barrett’s appendix started giving him problems. Barrett underwent an emergency appendectomy and is reportedly doing well, but doctors have nixed his travel plans for the next 10 days. Reel Big Fish and Goldfinger will now begin the South American adventure Oct. 21 in Curitiba, Brazil.
