Well, maybe not everything, but Motion City Soundtrack is showcasing its four studio albums – I Am The Movie, Commit This To Memory, Even If It Kills Me, and My Dinosaur Life – during a series of shows ranging from Los Angeles to New York with some stops in between.

The band is calling the adventure “4 Albums. 2 Nights. 7 Cities.,” which pretty much describes the game plan with Motion City Soundtrack playing the albums over the course of two nights at each venue.

If this sounds familiar, then you might be thinking back to 2009 in Chicago when the band plowed through its discography in three nights. Of course, back then 2010’s My Dinosaur Life was still a gleam in the band’s collective eye and the end result was three albums in as many nights.

Appearing as part of the LG Ones To Watch tour, Motion City Soundtrack’s album extravaganza begins in West Hollywood at House Of Blues April 19-20. Other stops are San Francisco’s Fillmore Aug. 24-25; New York at Irving Plaza Sept. 9-10; Boston’s Paradise Rock Club Sept. 13-14; Philadelphia’s Theater Of The Living Arts Sept. 16 & 18; Cleveland at the Cambridge Room at House Of Blues Sept. 20-21 and Detroit’s St. Andrews Hall Sept. 23-24.

The next time Motion City Soundtrack does this might result in five albums in five nights. The band’s yet-to-be-named fifth effort is expected to land in stores sometime during spring 2012.

Tickets go up June 24. Visit the band’s website for more information.
