Aussie Club Owner Turns Self In
Former Sydney nightclub operator Adam Freeman turned himself in to the Australian embassy in Bangkok, Thailand, June 17. He left Australia in December a day after an associate was allegedly caught with 20 kilograms of ecstasy.
Freeman’s lawyer stated her client left for pre-arranged business meetings abroad and was not aware police issued a warrant for his arrest in May claiming Freeman’s fingerprints were found on items seized with the drugs.
When he did realize, his lawyers said, he decided to return home and fight charges.
