Adele Ready To Resume Tour
Adele’s medical misfortune began when a case of laryngitis forced her to postpone a single date – May 26 in Minneapolis. Although she performed in Denver two nights later, the illness lingered on, resulting in her postponing a Salt Lake City gig and, eventually, the remaining dates on the tour.
But that old adage about converting life’s lemons into lemonade certainly holds true here. Not only has Adele rescheduled her missed shows, but she’s added six new stops.
The rescheduled shows come in two parts with the make-up dates beginning in Vancouver, British Columbia, August 9 and running through August 24 in Saint Paul, Minn. The second round of dates begins in Atlantic City Oct. 7 and runs through her show in Grand Prairie, Texas, Oct. 21.
Adele’s revised schedule comes with a few footnotes. In situations where a new date has been assigned to a venue that was hosting the original show, the original tickets will be honored.
However, ticketing becomes a tad more complicated if a rescheduled date is planned for a venue other than the original room. While many new venues will honor tickets for the original dates, some shows, such as at San Diego’s Open Air Theatre Aug. 18, come with the advisory to “check with point of purchase for ticket information.”
New on the schedule are dates for Las Vegas (Aug. 20); Atlantic City (Oct. 7); Durham, N.C. (Oct. 8); Orlando (Oct. 13); Miami (Oct. 14) and The Woodlands, Texas (Oct. 18). Visit Adele.tv for more information.
