The U.S. tour begins with two shows Sept. 21-22 at New York’s Terminal 5. Dates are booked through a Nov. 13 gig in Philadelphia at Electric Factory.

Additional stops include Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium (Sept. 28); Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre (Oct. 4); St. Louis at The Pageant (Oct. 9); Royal Oak Music Theatre in Michigan (Oct. 11); Richmond, Va., at The National (Oct. 25); Atlanta’s Variety Playhouse (Oct. 27); and Cincinnati at Bogart’s (Oct. 11).

On June 30 Beirut kicks off a European trek by opening for Arcade Fire at London’s Hyde Park. The leg wraps up with a July 20 spot at Paleo Festival in Nyon, Switzerland at L’Asse. The group then returns to Europe in late summer for several shows Sept. 2-16.

A number of Canadian and U.S. dates are scheduled in-between the European runs July 29 through Aug. 14 including appearances at in Montreal (July 31), in Chicago (Aug. 6) and in San Francisco (Aug. 14).

Beirut is taking pre-orders for its third full-length album, The Rip Tide. The album, which is set for release Aug. 30, is the band’s first full-length album since 2007’s The Flying Cup Club.

The first pressings of The Rip Tide (both LP and CD versions) will come in a special foil-stamped clothbound edition.
