Walsh Not Guilty Of Indecent Assault

Louis Walsh spoke of his “utter joy and relief” after the 24-year-old Dublin man who’d accused him of indecent assault admitted he did so in the hope that the “X Factor” judge would pay him to keep quiet.

The man reportedly broke down under police questioning and admitted to lying about the attack, which he earlier claimed happened in Dublin nightclub Krystle April 10.

Police are reportedly holding him at Pearse Street police station in Dublin and considering whether to charge him with extortion and wasting police time.

In a statement, Walsh said the ordeal had been “hugely distressing.”
