Don Henley will have a very special guest when he performs at the Santa Barbara Bowl in California Sept. 24 – Emmylou Harris.

Yes, that is a lot of talent for one stage to hold. Harris’ four-decade plus career of quality writing and performances has endeared her to music fans. Having worked with just about everyone that matters including Neil Young, Dolly Parton, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson and Mark Knopfler, Harris is one of music’s classiest acts. Forty years after the fact, her work with Gram Parsons still shines as one of country rock’s brightest moments. They don’t come any better than Emmylou.

But Henley’s no slouch either, having built an incredible career with the Eagles as well as through his solo work. Songs like “Dirty Laundry,” “Boys Of Summer,” and “The End Of The Innocence” are instantly recognizable classics, making Henley one of those rare artists that enjoys tremendous success under his own name as well as a member of one of the most accomplished bands … ever.
