A Giant List Of New Dates

They Might Be Giants recently announced a bunch of new dates, extending the band’s U.S. tour into late November.

The new round of shows begins Oct. 28 at Milwaukee’s Pabst Theatre. U.S. dates are booked through a Nov. 26 gig in Washington, D.C., at the 9:30 Club.

The alternative rock band will also stop by Salt Lake City’s The Depot (Nov. 4); the Knitting Factory Concert House in both Boise, Idaho (Nov. 5) and Spokane, Wash. (Nov. 6); Seattle’s Showbox SoDo (Nov. 9); and San Francisco’s The Fillmore (Nov. 12 and 14).

A post on They Might Be Giants’ website says the band will also play a number of cities that haven’t yet been announced including gigs in New York City; Charlottesville, Va.; Atlanta; New Orleans and Los Angeles in addition to shows in The Carolinas and Texas. 

They Might Be Giants is promoting their upcoming fifteenth studio album, Join Us. The album, which marks the band’s first non-children’s album since 2007’s The Else, is set for release July 19.

According to the band’s website, Join Us includes everything from “inspired electronic excursions to blazing barns-stormers with their explosive live band.”

Fans that pre-order the album will receive a free download of the album as soon as it is released.
