Don’t Blink & Miss These Cut Copy Dates

Cut Copy has announced its final U.S. headline tour in support of the electro-pop band’s third studio album.

Zonoscope was released in February on Modular. Remixes of the album’s next single, “Blink and You’ll Miss a Revolution,” will be released digitally on Aug. 9 in the U.S., followed by a 12”. The remixes feature Toro Y Moi, Chicken Lips, Das Moth & Kenji Takimi, Tornado Wallace, and Henning Furst.

The new U.S. headline shows begin Sept. 13 in Montclair, N.J., at Wellmont Theatre.

Cut Copy will also hit up Buffalo, N.Y., at Town Ballroom (Sept. 15); Indianapolis’ The Vogue (Sept. 19); Asheville, N.C., at The Orange Peel (Sept. 26); the Georgia Theatre in Athens (Sept. 28); Miami’s Grand Central (Sept. 30); Denver’s Ogden Theatre (Oct. 4); and Vancouver, British Columbia, at The Vogue Theatre (Oct. 7).

The run wraps up with an Oct. 16 appearance at in Pensacola Beach, Fla., at Casino Beach. Midnight Magic and Washed Out will open the majority of the dates.

An email from the band notes that five more shows will be announced at a later date.

In other Cut Copy tour news, the band has rescheduled two Brazilian shows and added a third on Oct. 19 in Porto Alegre at Bar Opiniao. The show in Sao Paulo at HSBC Brasil will now take place Oct. 21 and the gig in Rio De Janeiro at Circo Voador is set for Oct. 22. A London show has also been announced for Oct. 27 at the Roundhouse.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale beginning Wednesday. Tickets for most of the shows go on sale to the general public beginning Friday.
