Changes: Def Leppard, Katy Perry
Bringin’ On The Heartbreak
The Def Leppard tour with special guest Heart started hiccuping early this week when, citing a “family illness,” the band began pushing back dates. As of Thursday, Def Leppard had rescheduled its July 7 appearance at Cincinnati’s River Bend Music Center for July 27 and issued an announcement saying more shows would be postponed.
The band released more information today. The July 9 show in Bristow, Va., at Jiffy Lube Live has been pushed back to July 31; the July 10 gig in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center is now set for Aug. 2; July 12 in Wantagh, N.Y., at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater will take place July 30; July 13 in Holmdel, N.J., at PNC Bank Arts Center is now Aug. 3, and July 15 in Tinley Park, Ill., at First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre is now scheduled for July 28.
For those of you preferring your rescheduled Def Leppard dates in chronological order, the revised routing has the band playing Cincinnati (July 27), Tinley Park (July 28), Wantagh (July 30), Bristow (July 31), Saratoga Springs (Aug. 2), and Holmdel (Aug. 3).
Tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates, but refunds are available at points of purchase if the new assignments do not fit in with your own hectic lifestyle.
Was It Something Russell Cooked?
Katy Perry is down with a case of food poisoning, forcing the singer to postpone concerts in Minnesota and Illinois. Tonight’s show at the Allstate Arena show in Rosemont, Ill., has been moved to Aug. 21 and tomorrow night’s gig in St. Paul at the Xcel Energy Center is now set for Aug. 23.
As with Def Leppard, tickets for the original shows will be honored on the new dates and refunds will be available at points of purchase.
btw… Nobody’s claiming the food poisoning was caused by something husband Russell Brand cooked up. But the weekend is still young.
