The event planned for Aug. 3 at UCLA’s Tennis Center serves as the Los Angeles show for the Samsung AT&T Summer Krush concert series combining concerts with Samsung’s efforts to hawk cell phones. Summer Krush concerts usually feature an hour of live music along with interactive activities and chances to win prizes including Samsung InFuse 4G handsets.

Other Summer Krush concerts include Luke Bryan playing Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House July 20 and The Band Perry appearing in Dallas at Gilley’s Aug. 8.

But not every Summer Krush concert ends up on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Through the magic of modern technology, excerpts from Coldplay’s performance at the Tennis Center will appear on the program later that very same night.

Tickets will be available via Ticketmaster with an artist fan club pre-sale beginning Wednesday at 10 a.m. Promoter Goldenvoice will hold its own pre-sale starting Thursday at 10 a.m. and accessible via the password MAJORMINUS. The general public onsale begins Friday at 10 a.m. with prices ranging from $45 to $150. All times PDT.

There will also be a limited number of tickets offered through Samsung and AT&T. For more info, click here for the Samsung AT&T Summer Krush Concert Series website and here for Goldenvoice’s Web HQ.
