Touring in support of her new album, Better Day, Dolly Parton managed to squeeze the new gigs in between her September U.K. run and November’s string of Australia performances.

New on Parton’s calendar is Cedar Park, Texas, at the Cedar Park Center Oct. 7; Tulsa, Okla., at the BOK Center Oct. 8; Biloxi at Mississippi Coast Coliseum Oct. 11; Valdosta, Ga., at Wild Adventures Theme Park Oct. 14; Clearwater, Fla., at Ruth Eckerd Hall Oct. 15; and Sarasota, Fla., at Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall Oct. 16.

With the “Better Day World Tour” beginning July 17 in Knoxville at the University of Tennessee’s Thompson-Boling Arena, Parton is making the TV rounds, appearing on NBC’s “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” July 22, the same day she appears on the syndicated “Better TV” program. Other upcoming TV appearances include the Great American Country cable channel where she’ll appear on “The Collection” July 14 and “On the Streets” July 19.

General ticket sales for the new dates are scheduled differently for each market. Sarasota goes up Friday, Clearwater has yet to announce a public onsale and Valdosta is already on sale. Visit DollyPartonMusic.net for more information.
