Touring in support of her album Goodbye Lullaby released earlier this year, Avril Lavigne launches the South American leg of her Black Star tour today in Caracas, Venezuela. After playing Peru, Chile, Argentina and Brazil, Lavigne crosses the Pond for a September Euro outing and begins her Canadian leg with two nights in Victoria, British Columbia, at the Save On Foods Memorial Centre Oct. 1-2.

Other Canadian markets welcoming the country’s reigning pop-punk queen include British Columbia cities Vancouver (Oct. 3); Prince George (Oct. 5); Kamloops (Oct. 6) and Kelowna (Oct. 8). Other destinations include Edmonton, Alberta (Oct. 10); Calgary, Alberta (Oct. 11); Regina, Saskatchewan (Oct. 13) and Winnipeg, Manitoba (Oct. 14).

Ontario gets the lion’s share of Lavigne with gigs planned for Sudbury (Oct. 16); Ottawa (Oct. 17); London (Oct. 22) and Toronto (Oct. 24). Shows are also planned for Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
