Mraz has slotted a series of dates throughout the world in what his camp describes as a journey to celebrate “music’s lasting power to inspire change and help others through global citizenship.”

Playing shows in North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia, Mraz will go the acoustic route on many performances as he teams with percussionist Noel “Toca” Rivera. Marking the 10th anniversary of their indie-released Live At Java Joe’s, the two longtime friends will play the Musicians United For Safe Energy (MUSE) concert in Mountain View, Calif., at the Shoreline Amphitheatre Aug. 7, joining a bill that also includes Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Tom Morello, Crosby, Stills & Nash; and Doobie Brothers.

Speaking of benefits, Mraz and Rivera will play Farm Aid in Kansas City, Mo., at Livestrong Sporting Park Aug. 13.

Other destinations include Soorts-Hossegor, France, at the Groundswell Festival Sept. 17; Prague, Czech Republic, at Palac Akropolis Sept. 20; Berlin at Passionskirsche Sept. 21; Australia’s Sydney Opera House Nov. 19-20; New York’s Carnegie Hall Nov. 23 & 25 and San Diego at Spreckels Theatre Nov. 28-29.

At this time Mraz has two shows on the schedule where he’ll be joined by his “Super Band” – Columbia, Md., at the Merriweather Post Pavilion Sept. 24 (with Colbie Caillat) and Portsmouth, Va., at the nTelos Wireless Pavilion.
