Matt Nathanson Makes Some Noise

After performing with Maroon 5 and Train this summer Matt Nathanson plans to stay on the road to do a headline tour of his own.

The singing/songwriting road warrior is touring in support of his seventh studio album, Modern Love. The album was released in June on Vanguard as the follow-up to his 2007 album Some Mad Hope.

Nathanson opens for Train Aug. 27 at Erie County Convention Center Authority in Pennsylvania. He has Maroon 5/Train support dates booked through a Sept. 24 gig in The Woodlands, Texas, at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

Without taking even a day off, Nathanson begins his fall headline tour Sept. 25 in New Orleans at House Of Blues.

Stops on the “All Night Noise Tour” include Philadelphia at Electric Factory (Oct. 1); Toronto at Opera House Concert Venue (Oct. 6); Chicago at Riviera Theatre (Oct. 15); Salt Lake City at Club Sound (Oct. 21); Los Angeles at The Wiltern (Oct. 29); and Austin, Texas, at La Zona (Nov. 2).

The noise dies now (for now) after he plays a Nov. 5 show in Nashville at Cannery Ballroom.

Before the “All Night Noise” begins, Nathanson will stop by “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” Aug. 1 to perform his hit single “Faster.” On Aug. 5 fans can tune in to Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” to see Nathanson show off his new music.
