Before joining Pearl Jam on the road, X will celebrate the 31st anniversary of its debut album, Los Angeles, with a U.S. tour featuring the 1980 album performed in its entirety. Select shows will feature a screening of the band’s 1986 rockumentary, “X: The Unheard Music.” Fans can count on seeing the original X lineup on stage including John Doe, Exene, Billy Zoom and D.J. Bonebrake.

The U.S. tour begins with an appearance at Riot Fest Sept. 24 in Philadelphia at Festival Pier with dates scheduled through X’s Oct. 29 spot at Voodoo Experience at New Orleans City Park. X will also bring Los Angeles to Asbury Park, N.J. (Sept. 25); Annapolis, Md. (Sept. 26); Alexandria, Va. (Sept. 27); Hoboken, N.J. (Sept. 29); New York (Sept. 30-Oct.1); Boston (Oct. 2); Cleveland (Oct. 4); Chicago (Oct. 5); Minneapolis (Oct. 6); and Denver (Oct. 8).

X will open for Pearl Jam on every night of the band’s 9-date South and Central American tour.

The trek kicks off Nov. 4 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, at Morumbi Stadium, and wraps up Nov. 24 in Mexico City at Foro Sol.

Additional stops include Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (Nov. 6); Curitiba, Brazil (Nov. 9); Porto Alegre, Brazil (Nov. 11); Buenos Aires, Argentina (Nov. 13); Santiago, Chile (Nov. 16); Lima, Peru (Nov. 18); and San Jose, Costa Rica (Nov. 20).

A pre-sale for Pearl Jam Ten Club members begins Friday for all South/Central American shows, with the exception of the Mexico City date. A pre-sale for that show has already passed.

Tickets for the Mexico City show go on sale to the general public Friday and to the Lima gig July 27. The public on-sale for the San Jose, Costa Rica, show is yet to be announced. All other shows go on sale to the public Aug. 1.
