The Postelles’ Summer Undercover + Fall Tour

Things are looking up for The Postelles – and the New York rock band’s fans. After releasing its long-awaited debut album last month the group has put out a free EP and announced a fall U.S. tour.

The EP, titled Summer Undercovers, features four cover songs including “Ask” from The Smiths, “California Sun” by Joe Jones, Eric Cover’s “Whole Wide World,” and the band’s version of The Ramones’ “Beat on the Brat.” The Ramones cover was recorded live at The Postelle’s record release show at New York’s Mercury Lounge. Fans can download Summer Undercovers through the band’s website or facebook page.

The band put out the EP as a thank you to fans for their support with the album release and late spring/early summer headline tour. After The Postelles parted ways with Capitol, the band’s self-titled debut album was finally released June 7 on +1 Records.
