Laura Marling’s Brief U.S. Run
The singer who won this year’s Brit Award for best British female artist is touring to support her new album, A Creature I Don’t Know, dropping Sept. 13 on Ribbon Music. Check out the first track to be released from the album, “Sophia,” embedded below.
The way-to-brief North American leg of Marling’s “When The Bell Tolls” tour begins in San Francisco at Bimbo’s 365 Club Sept. 17. Other stops include West Hollywood’s Troubadour Sept. 20; Chicago’s Lincoln Hall Sept. 22; Toronto at the Great Hall On Queen Street Sept. 23; Montreal at the Corona Theatre Sept. 24; Boston’s Brighton Music Hall Sept. 25; Washington, D.C., at the Sixth & I Historic Synagogue Sept. 27; and New York City at Webster Hall Sept. 28.
Marling heads back to the U.K. in October where she’ll play some of the land’s most intriguing and beautiful venues including Cathedrals Exeter, Guilford, Sheffield, Gloucester, Manchester, Westminster and Winchester (Oh-bo-de-o-do).
